The number and varied locations in which I stumble across references to the Zodiac killer never cease to amaze me. The following video, Something Left, Something Taken, is an award winning animation created by Brooklyn-based Tiny Inventions, a collaboration of the creative talents of two people: Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata.
The Tiny Inventions’ blog provides a very detailed behind-the-scenes review of the production process. Clearly, the task involved a tremendous amount of time and effort.
While those of us familiar with the minutia of the case could find an occasional detail to nitpick, doing so really misses the point. As with Unfound Fossils, this video is yet another example of the extent to which the unresolved crimes the Zodiac continue to impact our popular culture.
